Galtram's dam was bred by John Randolph Esqr of Roanoke & got by Gracens out of old Minikin which was the great dam of Mr. Randolph James. She was got by President (son of [Celer?]) a very fine horse of great speed whose dam was by old Mark Anthony out Hardimars Bonny Lass - she by old Jolly Roger, out of the imp. Bonny Lass a descendent of the Dude of Ancastors Bonny Lass by Snip - Lath - Ensby Snake - Grey Wilkes by Hauthoy Minikins dam was by Tristam Shandy - his dam by old James out of an English mare, Her dam (Minikins) by old James out of Mr Booths imported mare.
