Winchester July 6' 1842 I have written to Mr. Yates to send to me $77.97 the interest due from him, and to execute his note with security to the estate for $1145=00 the amount of principal due from him on the 1st of July - He has paid for Isaac the following sums of money 1842 July 28th 3125.03 March 31. 700.00 May 18. 29.97 [total] $3855.00

Isaac must therefore pay to you $73.22 the interest on the money paid for him into Bank up to 1' July and execute to the Executors of the estate his obligation for $3855 - dated 1' July to pay the interest semi annually. To prevent any hard thoughts I think Isaac had better execute a Deed of trust to secure this - I mentioned it to him some time since, and he assented to it — You had better shew this to Isaac and Mr Davison. We are all well - Mary and little John James are very well - Mrs Dunbar, Mary, and the children unite in love to you. I expect to call at Belle Grove, going or returning from Woodstock. V Sincerely P Williams [J?]
