Prince George November Court 1830 Richard W. Backus Complt against James S. Gee admr debonis non of John B. Williams dec'd and the said James S Gee and Julia A his wife, formerly Julia A Backus Defts }In Chancery This day this cause was heard by Consent and upon the hearing the Court doth order, adjudge, and decree that Augustine Burge, Drury Birchett, Tho's. Daniel, and Joseph Taylor, or any three of them, in as much as the Slaves devised by Richard Williams to Mary Williams for life in the Bill mentioned cannot be divided in kind that the said Commissioners after duly advertising the day and place of sale proceed to sell the said slaves to the highest bidder on a credit of three months taking bonds with good security for the Amount of Sales to those intitled under the said Will of Richard Williams in the following manner a bond or bonds to James S Gee as administrator debonis non of John B Williams for one half said amount of Sales or bonds to him in his own right for one fourth part of said amount of sales, and a bond or bonds to Rich'd W Backus for the Other fourth part of said sales, and
