In the County Court of Franklin County Missouri December 9th 1854. "Now at this day comes James A Jennett a minor heir of James H Jennett deceased over the age of fourteen years and makes choice of Thomas L Deupree as his guardian and he is so appointed, and the Court appoints him guardian of Elizabeth C. Martha Jane and John William Jennett minor heirs of James H Jennett deceased and ordered that he give bond in the sum of eight thousand dollars In County Court. Franklin County Missouri September 4th 1855 Now at this day the bond of Thomas L Deupree guardian of James A. Elizabeth C. Martha Jane and John William Jennett is presented to the Court and is by the Court approved. The bond is as follows - Know all men by these presents that I Thomas L Deupree as principal and we Stephen T May and Richard W. Booth as securities are held and firmly bound unto the State of Missouri for the use of James A Jennett Elizabeth C Jennett Martha Jane Jennett and John William Jennett minor heirs of James H Jennett deceased in the sum of eight thousand dollars lawful money of the United States for the payment of which well and truly to be made we bind ourselves our heirs executors &c jointly firmly and severally by these presents. Sealed with our seals and dated this 25th day of August A D 1855. The condition of the above bond is that if Thomas L Deupree guardian of the above named minors shall in all things faithfully discharge his duties as such guardian according to law then the above bond to be void else to remain in full force
