This day this cause came on again to be heard on the papers formerly read, and the special report made by R. R. Collier Esq. Commissioner appointed under a decree of the last March term and was argued by counsel on consideration whereof the court doth adjudge order and decree that one of the Commissioners of this Court enquire into and report the names of the remaining eight original distributees of Thomas Stewart the elder sometimes called Doctor Stewart a free man of color late of Dinwiddie County Virginia, and who are the persons now rightfully entitled to receive the same - and to enable him to better execute this order, he is authorized to cause a suitable notice of the time and place of making said enquiry to be published once a week for four weeks in the Raleigh Standard and Fayetteville Observer two news papers published in the State of North Carolina, and to make report to court
