Know all Men by these presents that we Peter Pelham & William W. Wilkins are held and firmly bound unto George Woodlief in the Sum of one hundred and ten pounds 6/3 & $132:66 cts to which payment well and truly to be made to the said George Woodlief his Heirs Executors Adm'tors or Assigns we bind ourselves our Heirs Executors & Administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this 29th Day of October 1805.
The conditions of the above obligation is such that whereas the above bound Peter Pelham hath obtained an Injunction in the Superior Court of Chancery for the District of Richmond to stay the further proceedings which may be made on a Verdict and Judgment obtained by said George Woodlief against the said Peter Pelham in Brunswick District Court held the fifth Day of this Instant October, for the sum of fifty five pounds Three shillings & Three pence Damages, besides the Costs, until the matter thereof shall be heard on a Bill of Injunction filed in the said Court of Chancery for that purpose. Now if the above bound Peter Pelham and William W. Wilkins shall pay or cause to be paid unto the said George Woodlief his heirs &c. all such Damages and Costs as shall accrue to him the said Woodlief in case the said Injunction shall be dissolved then the above obligation to be void or else to remain in full force and virtue.
