Know all these presents that I Benja [Benjamin] Dulany of Chs County in the State of Maryland for and in consideration of the Sum of Three hundred Dollars the receipt whereof I do I do hereby acknowledge Have bargained and sold and by these presents Do bargain and sell unto Ephram Evans a Negro Man named Isaac To Have and to hold the said Isaac unto the said Ephram Evans his Heirs and assigns forever, and the said Benja Dulany doth warrant and defend the said Slave Isaac unto the said Evans free from the claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever. Witness my hand and seal t his 20th Day of December in the year 1805. Benj'n [Benjamin] Dulany Senior Witness Daniel Dalton George Grimes Rec'd [Received] this 30th day of Dec'r 1806 of E Evans the Sum of two hundred & fifty four Dollars being the Balance due from him in full. Benj'n Dulany Witness Joseph Milburn At a United States Circuit Court of the District of Columbia continued & held for the County of Alexandria the 17th day of January 1807.
