5/2/46 Tues Darling- The mail service is still lousy. The only letter I've had since you left the UK is the one you wrote on 21/1 Paris 15 days without news of you Darling. I can't bear it-need your letters so much. The weather has been so frightful lately- gales etc- I suppose shipping has been & still is disorganized. I feel like crawling to the telephone to ask Col Chase or Col Veazey to get news of you, for me.
