At a Council held at the Capitol the 27[']th of October 1709

The Hon[']ble the President & Council

On the petition of Robin a Pamunky Indian praying Leave to stay among the Inhabitants of this Colony where he has been bred for severall years past and instructed in a trade whereby he is Capable of Maintaining himself and that he may not be obliged to return to his own Nation according to a former order of this Board. In consideration of the petitioner's (harvesting?) (illegible) the English and that his brave will be of noure? to him if he return to his own Nation the Council to therefore grant Liberty to the said Robin to continue among it the (illegible) and wherever he shall find (illegible)
