The deposition of David Perkins of the firm of Thomas J Perkins and Company of Goochland taken at Goochland Co Ho. on Monday the 16th day of October 1837 agreeably to notice. To be read as evidence in a suit now depending in the Circuit Superior Court of Law & Chancery for Goochland County. in which Thomas Brooks Sr is pltff and Meshach Hicks admr. of Fielding Brooks decd. is defendant. This deponent being first duly sworn according to law answereth and saith Question by the pltff. How long have you known the pltff in this cause? Answer. I have known him nearly all my life
