Question by the same. Did Fielding Brooks ever pay you any money on his fathers account. Answer. He never paid me a cent that I recollect my books do not show that he ever did And further this deponent saith not Ptolemy L. Watkins Goochland County to wit This day Ptolemy L. Watkins personally appeared before me a justice of the peace for the county aforesaid, and made oath to the truth of the foregoing deposition given under my hand this 16th day of October 1837.
