[original document, in ink] To the Honble: The Governor in Council Richd Price Humbly prays That leave may be granted him to take up ffour thousand acres of land lying on the south side Roanoke River beginning at a place called Jackyok, and down the said River to compleat that Quantity And shall pray &c.
