Gloucester County Court May [Tenn?] 1829 The [commissioners?] appointed this day to value Henry a runaway slave committed to the Jail of this county [refined?] a report of the valuation of a [illegible] slave and the court being of opinion that the said runaway [mill?] [mos?] sell at public auction for a [sum?] sufficient to pay the prison fees and [their?] expenses after being confined in jail twelve months. [To?] fix the time of his imprisonments to be [the] [8th?] day of June next and [doth?] order that at the end therefor the said slave be sold by the sheriff at public auction after the time and place of sale having been advertised according to law.
