m    Dr Brewer & his charming wife met the train. Their son Taddie B. was coming with us. Dr B. was in military uniform & showed his consciousness. He was most cordial, however & advised us to to to Heuilly that night. We went without baggage in a cab for 7.3.60. Cheap!

It was 9:30 when we came to the American Ambulance hospital. Astonishment is a mild way of saying that were were overcome with the immensity and handsomeness of our place of abode.
