This Indenture, made the 13 day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty between Roj Russell one of the overseers of the Poor of Frederick County, of the one part, and Elijah [illegible] of the same County, of the other part: Winesseth, That the said Overseer, in consequence of the powers in him vested, and pursuant to an order of the Court of the County aforesaid, dated February Fourth 1860, hath put, placed and bound, and by these presents doth put, place and bind Luncinda Bell unto the said Elijah Joadson with him to dwell, and serve after the manner of an apprentice, until she shall arrive at and attain the full age of eighteen years, (the said Lucinda Bell a free girl of color being four years old the first day of March 1860) during all which time the time the said apprentice the said [illegible] well and faithfully shall serve, his secrets keep, and his lawful
