Know all men by these presents, That I Hiram Blackwell of the County of Northumberland for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and thirty Dollars to me in hand paid by Elizabeth Crommelin on or before the ensealing and delivery of these Presents, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, and thereof forever acquit and discharge the said Elizabeth Crommelin have bargained and sold, and by these Presents do bargain and sell unto the said Elizabeth Crommelin her Heirs or Assigns a Negro Boy named Vincent. To have and to hold the said Negro Vincent unto the said Elizabeth Crommelin Heirs and Assigns forever, against the claim or demand of any person or persons whomsoever. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 23rd day of March in the year of our Lord, One Thousand Eight Hundred and five. Hiram Blackwell [seal].
