Mrs M C B M --#2 The proportion of the expenses to be allotted to each college in carrying on the graduate department has been a source of much disturbance during the past two years. The larger part of the students in the Graduate School is made up of Newcomb graduates, whereas most of the teachers and lecturers are from Tulane faculty. There are members of the Board who consider themselves special champions of the Newcomb Fund and look upon almost any effort at combination of expenses as an endeavor on the part of Tulane
