My clubs have disappointed me very much, several of them have written that they fear the appropriation will hurt the Rural schools &c. &c. It is very hard to help women in line & with clear motives in their heads. But the Alexandria Club wrote me they had voted $5.00. Will try to see that it is forwarded. And I thought Lynchburg would contribute liberally |
