STATE HEADQUARTERS, RICHMOND, VA. COMMERCIAL BUILDING, SECOND STREET, BETWEEN BROAD AND GRACE

Whereas, an ordinance has been introduced in the Council of the City of Richmond, providing for the establishment of a special court for the hearing of cases involving children and domestic relations cases - said court to be known as the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Equal Suffrage League of Richmond that we heartily endorse the movement to secure the establishment of such a court and respectfully urge the Honorable council and Board of Aldermen of the City of Richmond to pass the proposed ordinance and to make proper provision for said court. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of these resolutions be transmitted by the Secretary of this League to said Council and Board of Aldermen. (Signed) Lila Meade Valentine, President
