I feel I have taken my courage in my hand to presume to come before you, but the need of the hour demands courage in those who have the vision, and you will grant me, I know, that the women who worked for suffrage had the full vision of the power of woman's vote in the ballot box, added to her ever present personal influence which she by no me and need sacrifice. My vision included the power of the Ministry over the good women of their various congregations. I say this from personal experiences because I myself for 25 years was a sensory of a missionary society, and know that my rule of life and my opinions were formed entirely by the preaching I sat under, and a word from my Pastor for a or against anything was sufficient unto me.
