The regular, weekly meeting of the Equal Suffrage League of Norfolk was held in the writing room of the Lynnhaven Hotel Tuesday Nov. 19th, at 4:30 p.m. The printed list of the members was distributed among those present, and several new members were received into the League. Mrs. Cooper read from the Woman's Journal an account of the recent State Convention in Norfolk, with the resolutions adopted at that gathering. It was decided to secure more copies of the two little booklets, "Objections Answered" and "Eminent Opinions" so that each member shall have a copy of each and shall familiarize herself with the contents. The Treasurer then made a report after which the league adjourned to meet again Tuesday, Nov. 26th. S. Sandridge, Secretary
