Corporation of Lynchburg, To Wit: This day J. C. Young of lawful age personally came before me, a Justice of the Peace, in and for the Corporation aforesaid, and made oath, that a true copy of the annexed notice to take depositions in the case of Hundly against Walker has been duly published weekly for six weeks from the 11th day of June 1849 in the "Virginia Patriot" a paper printed in the town of Lynchburg. Given from under my hand this 5th day of Sept 1849. Samuel [Nowhin?] J.P.C.L. County, To wit: This day of lawful age, personally mde oaath before me, a Justice of the Peace, in and for the County aforesaid, that a true copy of the annexed order in Chancery in the case of against has been duly posted, as is therein required.
