Thomas Williams, Take notice that on Wednesday next the 12th Inst. between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 P.M. at the office of Tazewell Taylor in the City of Norfolk I shall proceed to take the depositions of Wm. C. Southgate and others to be read as evidence in a certain suit now pending in the Circuit Superior Court of Law and Chancery for the Country of Norfolk in which you are Plaintiff and I and others are Defendants and if from any cause the said depositions shall not be commenced on that day or if commenced and not completed the taking of the same will be duly continued until they are completed. Norfolk August 7th 1846, City of Norfolk lc: This day personally appeared before one Giles B. Cooke a Justice of the Peace on for the City aforesaid Jno. T. Francis who made oath that he this day delivered to Thomas Williams a copy of the above notice. Given under my hand & seal this 7th day of August 1846. G. P. Cooke, JP (seal)
