Mr. John H. Smith: As you are not an inhabitant of this Commonwealth, I take this method of informing you, that I shall on the 11th, 12th, and 13th days of March next, at the Law office of Messrs. Mosby & Speed; in the town of Lynchburg, between the hours of 9 o'clock in the morning and 6 o'clock in the afternoon, proceed to take the depositions of sundry witnesses, to be read as evidence on the trial of the suit, now depending in the Circuit Superior Court of Law and Chancery for the county of Prince Edward, in which I am plaintiff, and you and others are defendants.
