Mr. John H. Smith - Farmville Lynchburg July 21th, 1847 Sir: Please take notice, that I shall on the 14th Day of August next, at The Law Office of Mosby and Speed in the Town of Lynchburg proceed to take the Depositions of Sundry persons to be read as evidence in a suit now pending and undetermined in the Circuit Superior Court of Law and Chancery for the County of Prince Edward wherein I as the Guardianand next friend of Henry Jackson an Infant are plaintiff and you and others are defendants, and if from any cause the said Depositions shall not be taken on that day, I shall continue from day to day his completed.
