Lynchburg July 26th 1847 Mr. Patrick H. Jackson - Farmville Sir: Please take notice that I shall on the 14th Day of August next at the Law Office of Mosby and Speed in the town of Lynchburg proceed to take the deposition of Sundry persons to be read as Evidence in a Suit now pending and undetermined in the Circuit Superior Court of Law vs. Chancery for the County of Prince Edward wherein I as the Guardian and next friend of Henry Jackson an infant and plaintiff and you and others are defendants, and if from any cause the said depositions should not be taken on that day I shall continue from day to day till completed Pleasant Labby
