Your Respondant, further answering, says that some time in the year 18 [blank] when a suit was depending in this Court between himself and George W. Bradley in reference to the negroes that are the subject of this suit, the Plaintiff gave a Deposition in the said first mentioned suit and swore that he sold the said negroes to this defendant and made a bill of sale to him for them, without mentioning any condition, reservation right of redemption attached to said sale, as will appear by reference to a copy of said deposition herewith filed as a part of this Bill. And now having fully answered your Respondant denies all fraud & prays to be hence dismissed with his costs, &c.
