Monday PM Jan 17 1944

Dear Robert- Your card was received very glad to hear from you & to know you arrived OK. Guess you are working by now we are taking it easy snowed Sat & Sat Night Dad [Robert Basil Harris] & I went over to Ethel [Viola Harris Huffman] awhile Sunday I had Gene [Eugene Basil Haris] boots on it was fun going up the hill.

I am sending Johns letters to you. Guess I'll try & write Mrs Ashburn a few lines.
