APPEARANCE AND CONDUCT You're the "returning hero" to your family, friends and community. They'll be looking at you as the Army's representa-tive. You will be on display, so to speak. So don't be a "Sad Sack." You've been through a lot--why spoil it by looking and acting like anything but what you are--a good soldier. It'll mean a lot to everyone--you, your family, the Army, and the community--and hike up your morale and pride plenty to know you are making a good impression. A complete uniform--including the cap and insignia--is required on the Post at all times. So get in the swing of things right away.
