signed and all fighting would stop at eleven oclock the next day, and it did - Our division was on the front at the time - and we were stationed only a few miles back - And for the last three days I have seen the results of war, that I had never seen before - the ambulances were bringing in the wounded night & day - Lots of them were shot down ten & fifteen minutes before the fighting  ceased - they fought right up to the last minute = I think it was too bad that they had to go over the top yesterday morning, but they had to go -
