I went up to the front this morning, saw them burying the dead - saw quite a few of the boys that were with me at Charlottesville wasn't but one that I know of that was killed- But if it had lasted much longer, I think lots of them would have been gone- I did not see Claggett Jones but he is alright- saw some one that did- John Cox went up to the front too, and he met some German soldiers, and they gave him a rifle & helmet he said they were mighty friendly with them- wish I had been with him-
