This indenture made this Eighth day of July in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and three, between Baldwin Dade of the County of Alexandria, of the one part, and John Langden and Dennis Ramsay... of the same place of the other part, there's the said Baldwin Dade has been sued at the suit of Thompson V Deitch, and held to Bail thereupon and whereas the said John Langden and Dennis Ramsay... have become special Bail for the said Baldwin Dade, in the aforesaid suit, and the said Baldwin Dade wishing to secure the said John Langden and Dennis Ramsay... against all risques or accidents and for the purpose aforesaid.
