Know all men by these presents that I Benny Dulany for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars to me in hand paid. the receipt whereof I hereby acknowledge have bargained and sold and by there presents do bargain and sell until James Craven? a negro girl named Grace to have and to hold the said Grave unto the said James Braven his heirs and assigns free from the claim and demand of all and every person or persons whatsoever, and the said Dulany doth warrand and defend unto the dead Craven his heirs of a proper right and title unto the said Grace - as witness my hand and seal. this 23d day of May in the year of our lord 1806.
