Know all men by these Presents that I Henry S. Earl of the County of Alexandria in the District of Columbia Hath this day sold unto Benjn Waters of the County and District aforesaid a negro man named Frank aged about forty years For the Consideration of two hundred and fifty dollars. The said Benj Waters binding himself his heirs executors and administrators to emancipate the said negro man Frank at the expiration of Six years from the date of these Presents. The receipt of the aforementioned Two Hundred and fifty dollars I do hereby acknowledge and do by these presents bind myself my heirs executors and assigns and I do also hereby warrant and defend the Claim title or Interest of all or any person or persons to the said negro man Frank as aforesaid whatsoever.
