Some where In France Oct 2nd 1918 My dear Mama I was so glad to get your two letters, also had one from Father too, infact I got more mail that ever did get at one time, some of it was written as far back as August the sixth, forwarded it from Camp Mills. I wrote Fan a few days ago. Certainly hope she had a good time when she went to Wilmington with Mary Archer. Aunt Lula wrote me a long letter, you know I mailed her one those over seas cards when left. She said Granpa was mighty feeble now. I was so sorry to hear it. Well I guess Rob is in Ga now and by the time you get this will almost be thinking about coming home as Uncle Charles wrote me that men, most of them would sell their allotment in eight or ten weeks. Certainly hope he will do well this time.
