To all whom these presents shall come Greeting, Know ye that I LeRoy Peachey of the [City?] of Richmond and State of Virgini for divers good causes and values to be considerations moving me thereto ofer the further Consideration of five shillings in hand paid to me before the sealing and delivery of these presents the Rest whereof I Do hereby acknowledge Have given Granted and Confirmed unto my much [uspeifed?] Friend Lucy Montague and her Son William Montague and to their Heirs and assigns forever my Negro Girl Milley and the Feather Bed [in] which was Begueathed by the late Capt. 10th Montague died to be my Dear departed Wife Mildred and I do warrant the said Negroe Girl Milly and Bed unto the said Lucy & William Montague forever against myself or any person or persons claiming undre me Reserving nevertheless to myself the Absolute Use of the Said Girl Milley for and during the Term of my natural life and also the absolute property of all & every Child the said Milley shall bring forth during the [illegible] Term of my life [of?].
