This indenture Tripartite, made between Richard Glascoch of the County of Richmond of the one part, and Ann S. Brent of the County of Lancaster of the second, and Robert M. Robertson of the County of Lancaster of the third part, Witnesseth, that whereas a Marrage is intended to be consummated between the said Richard Glascoch, and the said Ann S. Brent parties to these presents, the said Ann S. Brent for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to her in hand paid by the said Robert M. Robertson at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the said Ann S. Brent hath granted bargained and sold, all her right, title, interest, and claim, and by these presents doth grant, bargain, and sell unto the said Robert M. Robertson all her right, title, interest and claim, to all goods, chattels, lands, and tenements now held and belonging unto the said Ann S. Brent to have and to hold the said interest, right, and title of the said Ann S. Brent of, in, or to the goods, chattels, lands, and interests now belonging to the said Ann S. Brent for her use and interest alone, to all intents and purposes whatsoever; and the said Richard Glascoch, doth by these presents rellinquish, and forever quit claim to all right and title, to all and singular, the goods, chattel, lands and tenements of the said Ann S. Brent; which he the said Richard Glascoch might acquire, or have by virtue of the aforesaid intended marriage, and the said Richard Glascoch in consideration of the marriage aforesaid, covenant, agrees, and obliges himself to give unto the said Ann S. Brent to her and her heirs forever upon the consummation of the aforesaid marriage one Carriage and pair of Horses. This Indenture further Witnesseth that the said Richard Glascoch, for and in consideration of the sum of one Dollar to him in hand paid by the said Robert M. Robertson the plantation whereon he now lives, known by the name of Indian Banks, three Negroes, Viz: Ben, Solomon, and Winny, and the household and kitchen Furniture, all the stock of Cattle, Horses, Sheep, & Hogs on the said plantation belonging to the said Richard Glascoch. To have and to hold the said plantation, household, and Kitchen Furnature, Negroes, Cattle, Horses, Sheep, & Hogs, to and for the sole and only use of
