and the future increase of the woman Louisa unto the said John D Glascock his heirs exors admors & assigns against all persons whatsoever shall & will warrant and for ever defend by these presents, upon Trust nevertheless that the said John D Glascock his heirs executors & administrators shall permit the said James R Stephens to remain in quiet & peaceable possession of the aforesaid slaves and take the profit thereof to his own use, untill [sic] default be made in the payment of the said sum of five hundred dollars either in whole or in part, and then upon this further trust that he his heirs executors administrators or, assigns, shall & will, so soon after the happening of such default of payment as he his heirs, executors, administrators or assigns may think proper, or the said Joseph G Stephens & Bidkar George or either of them their or either executors administrators or assigns shall request, sell the aforesaid slaves, & the increase of the woman Louisa to the highest bidder for ready money at public auction after having fixed the time and place of sale at his own discretion & given twenty days notice thereof at Lancaster Court house by written advertisement on some court day of the county, and out of the monies arising from such sale shall, after satisfying the charges thereof and all other expenses attending the sale pay to the said John Chowning his exors, admors, or assigns the said sum of five hundred dollars with the interest that may thereon lawfully have accrued, and the balance, if any, shall pay to the said James R Stephens, his heirs executors administrators or assigns - But if the whole of the said sum of five hundred dollars shall be fully paid off and discharged to the said John Chowning his executors administrators or assigns so that no default of payment of the said sum of five
