This Indenture made &c between John Wilson, of the first part, Reuben D Palmer, & Z. E. Cheatham of the second part and Celia Wilson of the third part, this 14th day of April 1834 Witnesseth whereas the said John Wilson is justly indebted to said Celia Wilson his mother, in the sum of three hundred and twenty five dollars, due by note or bond under seal, on the 1st of Sept. 1837, with interest from the 1st of Apl. (this month.) and being willing to secure the payment of the same, now for, and in consideration of the premises, & for the consideration of five dollars in hand paid to said John, by the parties of the second part, the rec't thereof having hereby acknowledged, he the said John Wilson, hath granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents doth grant, bargain and sell to the sd. Palmer & Cheatham, all his interest in his late Father's estate. Robert Wilson, especially his right, title and interest in the following slaves and their increase, now in the possession of his mother: to wit: Scipio, Lucy, Daffney, Adam & Susy; and also all of his Household and Kitchen furniture, including beds & bedding; together with his stock of Hogs & Cattle, To have and to hold the same forever, upon this special trust & confidence that in case said debt should not be wholly and punctually paid when the same is due; then the said trustees to duly advertise the
