Fluvanna. Sc. Patr Williamson of Lawfull age being first sworn on the Holey Evenjalist of Almighty God to give evidence in a certain suit depending in the Court of our sd County Between Benja. Fitzpatrick and Mary, his wife Plf and Wm. Fitzpatrick Exr of Jos: Fitzpatrick (Decd) Ro: Wright and Mary his wife, Defd. Deposeth and saith that he has for Fifteen years been acquainted with the Family of the Fitzpatrick's and that he has heard Joseph Fitzpatrick, Decd and Mary his Wife both say that a Negro Gal by the name of Tiller was the property of their Daughter Mary P. Fitzpatrick's and that when ever their Daughter Mary should marry she should have the sd. Girl Tiller to her self and, that since the sd. Mary has been married to Robt. Wright the negro has been in possession of the sd. Robt Wright nor that he never heard any Person demand the sd negro from the sd. Wright and this deponant further saith that he did not see the negro deliver'd and this Deponant further saith not.
