This is to certify that John M Hodges personally appeared before me a Justice of the Peace in & for the county of Halifax & made oath that the two tracts of land belonging to the estate of John Jennett & sold in the full of 1852 to James C Bruce & to William E Roberson was sold for their full value in his opinion.
