Know all men by these presents that I H. Anderson of York town and County for [consanguious] and other valuable considerations do hereby emancipate and set free from slavery the four following named infants servants To wit: Catherine Hardee born in1843. Robert Gilbert born in 1847. Nancy Camp born in 1851. and Hannah Tyler born in 1853. All of them being seven eights and a quarter of white blood born in my family and children of Maria Griffin, whom I also emancipate and set free. She being thirteen sixteenths of white blood. Given to the said children, the additional name of Anderson. Written by my own hand, and now signed and sealed this 8th day of March in the year 1857.
