The deposition of Lucy Dickison of lawful age taken at the house of Peter Fore's the 16th March1804 by the consent of the parties both being present in a suit depending in the county court of Prince Edward in chancery. This deponant deposeth and saith that she was at Peter Fore's twelve or thirteen years ago Anthony Winston came there and said to Peter Fore's wife that he intended to give Beck & John to Charles Woodson children the sd Winston farther said to the sd. Fore's wife who shall I give Kuzzy to, to you & your other children or to Perter Fore it was some time before she spoke the sd. Winston desired that she would say, for said he you know that they are my property and I can give
