THE Commonwealth of Virginia to the Sheriff of Prince Edward County, greeting: We command you that you take James Taylor and Mary his wife formerly Mary Clarke if they be found within your bailiwick, and them safely keep, fo that you have the bodies before the Justices of our said County Court, of Prince Edward at the Courthouse, on the third Monday in August next to answer John & Edward Cunningham of a plea of trespass on the case damage thirty pounds And have then there this writ: Witness Francis Watkins Clerk of our said court the 17th day of July 1804, in the 29th year of the Commonwealth.
