Hon C. W. Hill: Judge of Circuit Court Norfolk Co: [written on left side of page] Authorities Code Va 1887SS2252, 3253 & 976 N.C. 242 Kenneys Case 30 Grat. P. 865-8. We deem these directly in point and conclusive.

In submitting to your Honor a decree for approval in the Chancery cause of Lunsford vs Clapp we will make only a few remarks relative to the decree in question as we deem that the evidence has been carefully and fully considered by us in a former brief filed with the papers in the cause and which you now hold under advisement. We have recently received a certified copy of the certificate of marriage which was celebrated in Boston Mass to which place the parties went for that purpose. It has been clearly shown that they had no domicile there n or were they residents but simply sojourned for a day or two and never remained in the city but a few days and were never in it until they went there for the purpose of marrying and left it very soon after and were again in Va living together as husband and wife within two weeks from the date of the marriage (over)
