An Invitation The Officers and Directors of the Virginia State Fair Association extend you a cordial invitation to visit the 1925 Virginia State Fair. The State Fair is considered the popular forerunner of Agricultural Education; it is the index of Live Stock, Agricultural and Mechanical interest of the State; it inspires community co-operation and that get-together spirit for the good old Commonwealth; it fur- nishes a visual method of portraying what has been accom- plished in the intervening time from one Fair to another; it is the blackboard upon which is pictured the result of progress, improvement, initiations and better methods of intelligent study. It teaches the young as well as the old. It photographs on the mind of the grown-ups all that is best in Live Stock, Poultry, Agriculture and Mechanical helps, while the exhibits of the Boys' and Girls' Clubs are a stimulant to the young and create a desire to emulate in industry and thrift. While it educates, it also amuses. No where in the East will you be able to see such an array of amusements, all new and wholesome. The results of years of study and work will be array- ed for your benefit and the opportunity of seeing "Virginia's Greatest Event" comes only once in twelve months. You owe it to yourself and family to accept this invitation. You cannot afford to do otherwise VIRGINIA STATE FAIR ASSOCIATION W. C. SAUNDERS SECRETARY AND GENERAL MANAGER
