Corporation of Lynchby. to wit:

This day Ro. [Caullthen?] personally appeared before me a Justice of the Peace in and for the Corporation aforesaid and made oath that the annexed order of publication has been published in the Lynchburg Republican a public newspaper printed in the town of Lynchburg, for two successive months. Given under my hand this 3d day of September 1849.

The defendant William B. Crawley, not having entered his appearance and it appearing by satisfactory evidence that he is not an inhabitant of this Commonwealth, it is ordered that he do appear here on the first Monday in January next and answer the Plaintiff's bill ___that a copy of this order be forthwith inserted in the Lynchburg Republican for two months successively and posted at the front door of the Courthouse of this county.
