Edwin Gentry vs Shelton &c } In the county court of Nelson the 24th day of Febuay 1857 Edwin J Bates appeared and filed his petition and account asking leave to be made a partie plaintiff to this cause whereupon leave is granted him and this cause came on again to be heard upon the papers formerly read and the said petitions and account and was argued by Counsel on consideration whereof the court being that said account is reasonable and aught to be paid out of the proceeds of the sale of a negro Girl in the bill and proceedings mentioned doth therefore adjudge order and decree that Alexan Fitzpatrick do out of the monies in his hands arising from the sale of said negro Girl pay to Edward J Bates in discharge of his account filed in this cause the sum of forty two dollars with Int from the 15th day of Jany 1857 and take a receipt for the same and it with the papers in this cause
