Statement No 7- shewing the entire amount in money, notes, and Virginia State Stock, [illegible] and Cooper these received, and in the hands of your comr., belonging to the children of Moses Hepburn decd. above mentioned-

Your comr. further reports that the bond of Moses Hepburn for the sum of sixteen hundred dollars ($1600) is wholly due and unpaid- This sum is as a portion of the cash payment, made by Lewis Cooper, and [illegible] to Moses Hepburn by order the court (see comr Report Feby Term 1854)- This debt was seemed by a deed of trust dated the 25th of May 1853, from Moses Hepburn & wife on certain real estate therein mentioned. As the same person, (the children of Moses Hepburn) who are entitled to this debt, also are the owners of the real estate on which it is secured, your com. would recommend that your Honor will order that the trustees in said deed of trust execute and deliver to the children of Moses Hepburn a release of said deed.
