Memo. This day William & Jno. Beazley have sold to Jno. Ware of (Amherst Cty) one half of a tract of Land lying in the County of Amherst will'd to them by their father Jno. Beazley dec'd. containing about one hundred & fifty Acres be the same more or less, for the sum of twenty shillings per acre their half amt'g to $250 payable the 8th day of June next and so soon as the sd. Jno. Ware his Heirs &c shall secure the payment of the aforesaid sum by bond or otherwise, the sd. William & Jno. Beazley their Heirs &c do oblige themselves to convey the the sd. Jno. Ware his Heirs &c a good & lawful right in fee Simple it is understood by these contracting parties that if there is any arrearages of Taxes due on acct. of the sd. Land, not exceeding twenty Dollars the sd. Jno. Ware is to pay the same, in addition to the above mentioned sum & if above $20 it is to be paid by the sd. William & Jno.
